i think some people have a problem with kande kids or whatever because they feel that they are being fake... which in some senses you are (hiding from reality). i personally don't care how people dress.. i only care about the personality and honesty.
you say your trying to get away from reality for awhile ... why don't you just stop pretending and actually fix or do something about your problems in real life because i think that running away from them are just going to make them bigger especially if you find how easy it is to run away by going to raves doing drugs (not pointing at anyone directly i don't know who does drugs and who doesn't) that causes only another problem in itself. dress however you want, believe whatever you want... just be real and don't run away from your problems

sometimes dressing up is part of the escape. it's a rave. let's face it, most of us are there to escape reality as it were for 1 night. if gettin dressed up as part of that does it for you. ALL THE POWER TO YOU. it's no different than how some ppl dress for a club. i never get dressed up. but i do when we go to a nice club. doesn't mean i'm fake, or a wanna be yuppie or someshit. just means i wanted to get dressed up.
