All you jungalists and kid haters out there i have a explanation to why ppl like me are fukin kandi kids. when u think u've had a bad day then look at my life in a house with no carpets just the fukin plywood, rain spots o nthe fukin roof, no tv, telephone or internet and absolutly no food, a mom who is a closet whore and has stolen 480$ fro mmy account and is takin more everytime i get a cheque, so there's ur fuki nanswer to why we all try and be happy at raves and act immature because somtimes we need to escape our lives i nsitting in a dark corner listening to nirvana and sliting our wrists.. know what i'm sayin?! so next time u pick on us kids.. look at how much candy were wearing, the more candy the more FUKED UP lyfe we have.. thnx have a wonderful day :)

Candy kids are more happy then the rest of the crowd if you havn't noticed...Yah sure some of them can be annoying...But don't be mean to us just because you are a junglist and junglists hate candy kids blah blah blah...We are all people and all have feelings...And when someone rips your braclets off, realise that does hurt our feelings because think about it maybe those braclets you are ripping off someones wrists have some kind of sentimental value...Just please give it some thought and show some kindness instead of showing us anger because you hate the bright colours!

To the cousin... that's pretty harsh but a lil word of advice.... maybe try and go live with another member of your family or a friend. You obviously have a job if your mom's stealing money so you can afford to toss someone a lil cash towards rent and food. The least you should do is get a new bank account... it's not really that hard to do. Get one at a totally different bank and make sure all your cheques go in there and that your mom doesn't know about it.

As for the whole kandE kid vs. junglist thing it's always bothered me. I used to wear tons and tons of kandE shit man I made an outfit outta it once. I made tons of fun fur outfits for friends (dragons, dogs, tigger's, dinosaurs... fuck I don't even remember um all) and I had "junglist" friends and "old skool" friends and none of them cared that I went overboard on the kandE. I still wear the kandE that's important to me and I've kept all the rest in my box o rave but I don't go as overboard as I used to. I didn't have massive problems nor did I act immature at parties... I just had fun. I've found just as many bitter kandE kids as I have junglists because you know what... they're all people. People don't need a certain style of clothing of genre of music to listen to to be fucking dick heads. Some of them are just born that way... some of them turn out like that due to life experiences... and some of them can change.

I'm not a junglist... or a kandE kid... or an old skooler... or any of those fucking labels... I'm just me. I'll go to a party and have just as much fun busting it up to speed garage as I do ragga jungle.

Hey if kids wanna dress a certain way or do something, its not our posisition to judge them...remember, ego is what killed the punk scene... lets just concentrate on the music, that to me, is what is important, along with hanging out with friends, is what keeps me going to partys...some people may goto partys for other reasons, but who cares...only reason some people act all pissed off at certain groups of people(candy kids), and act upon that feeling, are only trying to elevate themselves higher above those people, and that is the biggest problem in society and high school...some people say that dressing up with candy and whatever is so "cliche" or such a trend, but remember trying to be different from that trend is what makes u the same as everyone else...no one is truely unique, except for the people who dont give a fuck about how much someone knows about something, or how they look, and aren't looking to elevate there ego, lets just go listen to the music and dance, if someones attire pisses u off that much, u need to suck it up and move on in ur life hehe... thats my 2 cents...

I agree with what majority of the people are saying. If you want to wear candy go straight a head. Don't lead those damn junglists stop the way you feel strongly about your own opinion as long as it satifies yourself then it's all good!

I used to be a candy kid...but then i just stopped wearing candy for some weird reason. Now I just go to parties in bleh whatever the fuck i want to go in. And why? Because i literally don't give a fuck what others think. If they wanna think i'm a bitch or whatever..then let them think that. Because you know why? I know that the percentage of the crowd that's going to be thinking the same thing is like 0.0001%. There are tons of other people who are just chilling and accept the fact that i don't care what i wear or what people say. Because you can't let it get to you. So as for the candykids out there. stick up for yourselves and don't let other people push you around and make you see who's boss. Your the boss of yourself...don't make people change your point of the view on what you believe in. Hell if you needa HUG just look for me...although i won't be at breathe.

Maybe sometimes people just need an escape once in a while. When your young and in a situation like there isnt of options that seem available. So a momentary escape can help a great deal, i agree its no replacement for solving all your problems, but whats shes saying is that she goes through enough shit at home and there is no reason that at a rave she should have to deal with more harassment. Which i agree with completly.

i love seeing people dressed in candy and bright colors running around at parties. its better than a whole bunch of subdued bitter people dressed in black. it just seems like more happy vibes when theres a whole whack of crazy rainbow folk skipping from here to there.

that said, i think sunglasses should be mandatory at all parties. otherwise things just get a little scary.

i know what you mean kimmay candy, when I first started partyign it was fun to wear bright colours and beads..I think it's just a phase though, i'm pretty sure in a year you won't wear candy anymore...could be wrong but I doubt it
If being a candy kid is your escape from reality than go ahead and be a candy kid....
i sortof have respect for candy kids because nowadays it's not the "in" thing to be,it's cool that you guys don't let this bother you and continue dressing how you want to :)
