Constantly drunk expecting me to look after her

I have a friend, Sophie, she has a lot of problems, and I really do sympathise with that. But she is constantly stoned or pissed. At home, and school, in exams, all the f00king time. I often drink, but I drink enough to get me pissed and to have a good time, but since we started hanging out together, i can no longer drink when we go out, cuz I know for well Sophie will be paralytic, get lost, cheat on her boyfriend, be sick or even attempt suicide if I am not there to keep an eye on her. The first few times it was funny, she did funny things, I enjoyed holding her up and being in charge I guess, but now I can no longer have any fun. and I cant tell her any of this because she will just freak out at me. Yesterday I tried to just ignore her, Ill explain what happened. She heard a rumour that her boyfriend had cheated on her, she spazzed out, tried to push him into the canal, burst into tears and then later in the night went with a friend of hers boyfriends, causing this friend to beat the fuck out of me, (because I was holding her back from killing Sophie) and then she got home. She woke up my two younger sisters, and then puked up all over my hoodie and over my house. I spent the entire night, not sleeping just looking after her.

then, get yourself a huge boyfriend and have him beat the snot out of whoever was pushing you around Finally - if your friend is really a friend you can talk to her and explain your feelings - If that is not possible and this is a friend youcan not communicate with - let them find a new sitter or better yet wake up in a ditch naked with a stranger...that'll teach her real good

I have the same problem with a friend who gets totally tanked and then causes all sorts of troubles in the DJ booth. She knocks the needles all the time and disrupts the music. That's just the start of things. She's got me kicked out clubs that I paid lots of money to get in too. I'm totally ditching her but I do see her at the clubs still. Kind of sucks.

danshrew? are you actually 14? and how old is your friend? kuz if you are...then you have more problems then just your friend being a drunk...
and honestly, if she's that young too, she should get some real help. as a friend you can only do so much. but tell her...keep telling her....it's hard but if you're REAL friends, then worth it.

even better tell her. if she doesn't like it. fuck her, as in leave her for the time being. it's up to her to keep her life in order, and if she can't, are you supposed to do it for her? i wouldn't, but i'm not you. i just don't see the logic in it.

ok. so i just read your intro thing in the NOOB section...first off...YOU'RE 14. ok. for real. why do you think it's a good thing to be drinking and shit when you're 14...?....why do you think that you need to get "pissed" to have a good time "often"...ask yourself some questions as well as taking a look at your friend....
and where the hell are you're parents? or her's? [disclaimer : if you're in a situation that sucks and you're basically without parents...or something along those lines then i apologize...] but i've heard too many stories of fucking kids just being stupid...wtf...something is lacking in our society...and has been for a while... 14? come on...this is a little more then teenage "angst" or "rebellion".... get yourself some help. i dont know i was drinking a lot at 14, and she is from somewhere where i believe the legal age is 16.... -ak27-, you're probably speaking of eastern european countries which are outside of the united kingdom, cuz uk's are drunks haha

i don't know. i only knew i was young because i was told that i was...if you're not told then you don't know...
lack of direction and guidence...[and i'm not necessarily referring to you...] i used to do shit like that...then my situation changed and i realized i shouldn't have been doing some of the shit that i was...a rude awakening...but an awakening nonetheless.... you're friend needs one of those. let her makes some mistakes...but if you think she's endangering her life or someone elses, then tell someone that can do something about it.

I remember being a lil piss tank at that age..I dunno now that Im older I dont do the booze anymore. But,remember when you wanted to go out there and try new shit like the older ones? I think for you friend she needs to be tough a lesson! video tape her and make her watch when shes solber what kinda fool she is. Or cut her loose from your life for a while and take a breather.
No one should have to put up with that shit constently..and please no raves for that gurl as hot karl suggests..we dont need another lil gurl od'in on drugs! tisk tisk!
