Don't Bitch At Ppl Who Work At Mcdiks
OMG I USED TO WORK AT MCDIKS....NOTHING SUCKS MORE THAN WHEN U GET BITCHED AT FOR SOMETHING THAT WASN'T EVEN UR FAULT...I GOT PAID LIKE NEXT TO NOTHING CAUSE IT WAS MY NEW JOB...AND PPL DIDN'T MAKE IT EASY LIKE SERIOUSLY IF U HAVE A PROBLEM U CAN COMPLAIN NICELY U DON'T HAVE TO BITCH ALL THE FUKEN TIME...WHAT I HATED THE MOST ABOUT WORKING THERE:
1)MCFLURRYS-THE #1 ENEMY IF U HAVE EVER ODERED A MCFLURRY FROM ME I RPOBABLY GAVE U THE DIRTIEST LOOK...THESES THINGS ARE STICKY AND SHIT FLYS EVERYWHERE 2)SENIORS COFFEES-OMG I SWEAR TO GOD A CREATAIN # OF OLD PPL WOULD COME IN EVERY DAY AND GET A SENIORS COFFEE AND IN CASE U DIDN'T KNO OUR DRINKS COME WITH REFILLS AND WE HAVE TO PUT CREAM AND SUGAR IN... 3)PPL WHO GET WATER-WHAT THE HELL LIKE U CHEAP BASTARD U DON'T GOT LIKE A BUCK SO U CAN AT LEAST BUY A COOKIE OR SOMETHING... 4)PPL WHO CHANGE THEIR ORDER AFTER THEY PAY-I'VE HAD A CUSTOMER ASK FOR NO ONION WHEN I HANDED THEM THEIR BUGER THEN I SMILED AND SAID "ITS ALREADY MADE" THEY BEGIN TO BITCH "WELL I DON'T WANT IT" WTF AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH IT U ORDERED IT!!! PICK THEM OFF THEN ITS NOT HARD U HAVE HANDS...HOLY SHIT IF IT WAS THAT IMPORTANT U COULD HAVE TOLD ME WHEN I TOOK UR ORDER 5)PPL WHO ASK FOR SMILES-OMG I'VE HAD PPL ASK ME FOR A SMILE WHEN I'M FEELING LIKE ABSOLUTE SHIT...I CAN'T SMILE ALL THE TIME...ESPECIALLY RITE AFTER U GOT BICHED AT...WE'VE ACTUALLY HAD PPL COMPLAIN THAT WE DON'T SMILE...WTF JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT PPL WHO WORK AT MCDIKS GO THRU A LOT OF SHIT...JUST BE NICE AND MAKE THINGS EASIER FOR THEM...TRUST ME ITS HELL THERE...AND IF OUR SERVICE IS SUCH "CRAP" MAYBE U SHOULD GO TO A ACTUAL RESTAURANT... OHH YEAH AND TO ALL THE PPL WHO GAVE ME SHIT THROUGH OUT THE 3 MONTHS I WORKED THERE ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS "FUK U":finger: :finger: :finger:

werd i get so mad when people bitch at people who are working.....i had to tell some disgusting man to chill out and let some poor girl do her job tha other day at whitespot, he was just being a total prick....people can be so rude, it's terrible

i just think it's funny that teenagers think mcdonalds (or anywhere else in the food service/retail industry) is the only place they can work. they bitch about having to work such a horrible job and claim there's no alternative (i beg to differ).
i never bitch at people working at mcdicks, even if the service is shitty... but for 1 reason and 1 reason only: it's cheap food. if you want 5 star service, go to a 5 star restaurant. it's your own damn fault for walking through the doors of the golden arches with some kind of twisted impression that you're going to have a good experience that's going to cost you less than what you make in an hour... get real. the funniest part is how these jerks keep coming back for more. and then they act all shocked when it takes 2 minutes to cook their burger or something. or their fries are cold. people will be people.

i've worked in the service industry. here's my piece of advice for all the people who act like pricks because their being served. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO PREPARE YOUR FOOD. think about that for 2 seconds. yes that means if you piss them off, YOU maybe the reason that pushes them over the edge, and now are you enjoying your food? does it taste like spit? can you feel the grit of the dirt in your meal?
it's exactly like bob said too, uh $5 meal? ok i go to mcdonalds, but i go there because it's mcdonalds. if i want FOOD, i go to a restaurant. until you start tipping the poor peeps at mcdicks, STFU. ya know what? STFU anyways. your only making yourself look dumb if you bitch

fuck... i was a manager at tha 'dicks... for 1 and 1/2 years... fucking sucked... always getting bitched at cuz tha st00pid 15 year old crew dont know what the fuck they are doing, and wont ask 4 help... and just think that doing it there way is best... WE HAVE PROCEDURES FOR A FUCKING REASON... but the daytimer (middle age full time crew) were a heaven send... They do evrything, and you dont even have to ask *even breaks*... aww shit..........

All these above reasons makes me thankful that I switched over to the grunt manual labor working field.
Custormers can be fairly annoying, though not all. There's the odd ones that you get a good rapport going with. But all it takes is that one bad customer to ruin the whole day. The funny thing is that I also tend to be a customer too. Ah, well. At eleast I try to be a decent customer. Just be thankful you don't have Lettace Guy's job. "EAT HERE! I LOOK LIKE LETTACE!!!" "You suck..." "Yeah, well, I least I got a job!!!!!"

Yeah, if you work in any retail position, you'll experience the same thing.
From my experience, it seems like the only people that learn to control the urge to bitch at the employees are the ones that work, or have worked, in a retail job themselves. My current manager told me in my interview that he loves hiring people who have worked in retail because he knows they have been through hell. If you can survive this, you can survive anything. Trust me.

i've worked elsewhere don't get me wrong mcdiks isn't like the only work experience i've have or anything...its just if u haven't worked there u don't even understand i swear to god...the ppl there are unbelievable...actually most of the ppl there who bitch are old ppl!!! U can spot them too in the lineup too they usually look like they have a stick up their ass cause they look so miserable so then u think i gotta be real nice and do a good job...u do everyrything rite and u will still get bitched at for some stupid ass reason just cause it makes their day or something...omfg...get a like ur spending how much money???

^^ the people everywhere are unbelievable. don't think mcdonald's is the only place with lots of bad customers. the only real difference is usually what they'll complain about. but everywhere else gets just as many fucktard customers as mcdonald's. trust me, i worked at playland for two years.. and i've known enough people who have worked at mcdonalds, and other places. it's not hard to compare.
actually john, most of the people who are really rude and complain and all that shit are ADULTS. not teenagers. I've never had a complaint come from a teenager, it's always been from adults. always.

I'm assuming this thread was started because of the other thread I started a couple of days ago about a bad experience at Mcdonalds.
hmm..yes...Mcdonalds workers should get slack. I get a burger with no meat in it. It's okay...I'll let it slide. uh no. That's just too far. Customers will only tolerate so much incompetence. Besides, it's your duty as a customer to point out areas of improvement for employees. I feel for Mcdonalds employees. Had I known earlier about the burger-less cheeseburger, I probably would have just walked up, showed them the burger, and asked for a new one. No yelling, no bitching, no pointing fingers. Once I retrieved the burger, I would have gotten back into my car, and drove off. No filing any complaints or anything. Yes, there are ass customers, but you have to learn to deal with them. It's all part of the learning experience. Every general started in the trenches. Noone expects 5 star service from McDicks, and if they do they're in for a surprise, but you can't give -1 star service either and use the old "McDicks is hell" excuse. As for getting experience, every general started in the trenches. You have to start low, or get a sweet hookup. And before someone throws the "why don't you work @ Mcdicks" defence in my face, I worked downtown and Slurrey selling hotdogs for a little over a year from a cart. I know what it's like, and more (I was given a sturdy beatstick for defence, they don't give you that at no restaurants!). If I recieve ass service, depending on the establishment and severity of the offence, I will bitch. It's my duty and my right. It's your duty as an employee to take it up the ass like a man/woman.
