FnK is soooooo much fun. while i go thru threads... i see the same shit goin on. its awsome. heres the pattern:
1 - someone makes a thread
2 - someone posts his/her opinion
3 - everyone BASHES it
4 - hell breaks loose
5 - and it keeps goin for days!!
6 - and the topic changes like 10 times.

haha look at it.. it went from wood's funny day, to the meaning of the word, 'retard' and gay and ***** to pple tellin othaz how to spell.
oh how i love it. can't get tired of this.

I agree with Ashley.

I think that the term 'retard' is grossly outdated and should go back the the archives of 1950 with words like 'queer' '******' 'chink', etc. I find that it is so easy for people who haven't had to face much adversity in trying to live a normal life to throw around words like this and then try to justify their use. People really can't help the way they were born, so perhaps you all ought to be a little more considerate about that. I think it's great that we live in a world where with the determination of some (my mother having dedicated over 15 years of her life to this) allows people with mental illness and disabilities to try to live a normal life independently.

You may dislike Ashley, but I think she's got a point. She's probably had to go through a lot more than you would think growing up for her brothers, and she's probably frustrated that years later she's still got to get people her own age to smarten up about it....

p.s.- God, as far as I know, what makes a messageboard interesting to read is differing opinions. We're not here to nod and smile and agree with eachother all the time.

jeezus christ, just because i use the word retard to describe some stupid fucks, now i'm insensitive to everyone less privledged than me?? bullshit. i never used the word in a context that was offensive to handicapped people. I like the word as an insult for stupid or ignorant people. if you don't, feel free not to use it.

anywyas i had to ressurect this thread because somebody just came into my shop and grabbed a FREE CD from a pile on the counter (a jazzanova/compost sampler cd) asked me if it was free (fair enough, just making sure i guess) and after i said yes, then asked IF HE COULD LISTEN TO IT FIRST. He wanted to preview a free CD, before he took it, FOR FREE. If that's not retarded, i don't know what is. no apologies to the PCs.
