Glamourpuss 18+ Only

Glamourpuss 2 is a 18+ event, that is fucken WEAK! Age restrictions on parties is a dumb fucken idea! It singles out people my age as "kids who party" This is fucken dumb, so fuck you Glamourpuss, and any other age restricted parties.

agreed...

these parties are thrown as an alternative to club-hopping, bar-starring, etc... it should be for people that aren't old enough to go to clubs...

most of us just wanna dance and listen to music. we can't go to a club to do that because there's alcohol involved... so where else can we go?

the drug issue should be a thing of the past. seeing as you can walk into any club these days and find E or whatever... it's not just in the raves anymore...

but then again, for the aged partykid, it's good to have a party where we don't have to look at 12 year old e-tards... there's plenty of parties out there man, it's just 1 party, let the old folks have it...

im 18 and plus. ;] so i dont mind, but i dont have the patience to make myself look "glam" anyways...

i dont have a problem with young kids going to parties UNLESS they are under 15, their parents dont know, they're high and getting it on with some 19 year old, 34 year old guy/girl there. then that bothers me... but whatever its their own life, they can fuck it up however else they want.

but the 18 + keeps the pedophiles away from the 14 year olds and makes it so the guys dont "accidently" hit on a girl thats only 13. its just like the whole alcohol and tobbacco legal ages. you can always get someone to boot for you, as you can get a fake id.

I went to the last Glamourpuss party and it was good but it was different due to the age restriction.

The women looked hot as they were women and not girls :001:

But not many e-tards. More cokefiends, G-heads and shirtless muscleheads.

I didn't like the 'vibe' as much but the music was pretty good.

IMO, you aren't missing much.

It's at the Maritime, which I heard is a TIGHT venue.

I heard that they don't ID you...but if you look young they might. That's just what my friend told me (he went to the first Glamourpuss).

the maritime is a pretty dope venue... but it reminds me of a high school dance scene.... it just has that look to it... so if you're the kind of partykid that likes dirty underground "hardcore raver" venues, don't go to the maritime... ahahaha...

Very much agreed.
I won't go to any parties that have age restrictions if I meet the age restriction.
But in the case of Glamourpuss...I went to the first one, it was supposedly 18+, I'm 17, they didn't ID me. It's like a big FUCK YOU to the whole age restriction thing.

AGEISM IS BAD!

If you don't want to deal with "12 year-old etards" don't pay attention to them. Don't talk to them, ignore them! No one said you had any sort of obligation to associate yourself with people you don't want to associate yourself with just because you're at a 'rave'.

I don't mind the Age restriction thing, many of you kids under 18 should be at home doing your homework anyways... LOL j/j
I don't think it's really enforced but it sorta makes them look good when they acquire their permits, especially since city council isn't too keen on all night events where little kids hang out, they want the kids home sleeping... hah hah...
Oh well.

And by the way Maritimes is a nice venue, the sound quality in there is kinda echoey though but it's a nice change once in awhile from riverside.

Awww poor snyxie!
Yah age limits rnt always the greatest, but you also have to look at it from the promoters point of view, alot of LITTLE kids party, not saying you're a little kid at all becuz quite obviously your not, some ppl are just old for their age (like you) and lots of other people aren't very mature for their age and they look very young as well as act very young and im sure you've bumped into a group of gr.9's at a party who think they're sooOOOooo cool cuz they're their and they're super high........

Honestly , i think they are the ones draggin the scene down..
no offense to anyone at all, but whats gonna happen when you go home all fucked up from a rave and mommy finds out and contacts the newspaper tellin them to do yet another article on why the scene is so bad?

Im not sure if i made ne sense but yah.............
