Ick. I was rear ended on the way to school this morning. I was stopped at the entrance to the highway (at 264th yahs gotta stop most of the time cuz there's a lot of vehicles getting off to go to glouchester estates) and this van hit me!@*#$!

I burst out in tears right away. heh.

And then I went out to check my rear end (OF MY CAR) and the guy came out too. We checked, nothing happened to my car, but his license plate was bend up. I said 'hold on a sec, I'll get a paper and pen', I go into my car, get the paper, open the door and he DRIVES OFF!

I thought I should get his info just in case. AND HE DROVE OFF!

It felt like he hit pretty hard, but nothing happened. I'm just a bit stiff and sore.

and I should have gotten his license plate number. I was so freaked out though that I didn't think about it.

You might want to ask a mechanic if the bumper might have unseen damage. Some bumpers are mounted with shock absorber things that can only be hit once, and then they lose their effectiveness.

Yeah. I think I'm going to call ICBC and get them to check it out. I can call it in as a hit and run...because that's exactly what he did.

yeah they use a shock absorber similar to styrofoam so that if its compressed once it completely loses it's effectiveness

Too bad you didn't get the license plate.

I got sideswiped and I tailed the guy until I got his plate memorized and let him go.

Report it to ICBC and they'll go hunt him down if you have damage.
