Being Overloaded with Work at School

I feel like ranting about my damn schoolwork... honestly, i have an IMPOSSIBLE amount of shit I have to do this week. It's a good thing I don;t sleep anyway... yaaay all-nighters!!!!

Here;s what I have to do:(and it may sound simple, but we all know thats not true...)

-prepare a Geo/Political presentation about Iraq.
-finish a 5 1/2 minute sportscast for TV news (sounds simple - but it takes a long time ... stupid tv production)
-read 6 chapters for ONE of my journalism courses and write an essay about them.
-interview the director of one of the agencies at SAIT, then edit the clips to produce a wraparound
-do a current events presentation
-have a midterm in political science
-start a profile of Drumheller and produce an 8 minute report on it, including an interview with the mayor of the town (which requires me to drive down to Drumheller at some point this week)
-interview the head person at Ravesafe... if they ever get back to me
-edit a video reporter package (that takes 2 1/2 hours)


on top of all of that, I have classes all week long... :soak:

AND i'm stage manager / musician for three one act plays we are putting on this week from Mon -Thurs
So i can;t do ANY of this work at night, cuz I have to be down in the theatre from 6 pm - 10 pm every damn night.

FUCK.

sorry, i'm cranky. it feels like every time i get ahead in school, they pile on 14 more assignments. I wouldn;t care if this stuff could be done during class time or at home - but all this stuff has to be done outside of class time and it ALL relies on shit thats beyond our control : eg : equipment not working, people refusing interviews, editing equipment crashing..... :sick:

and to those who would say i am whiny ---- NO SHIT. thats the point of this post. i am a WHINER!

my point here is that its a good thing i have a friend who lives in residence, cuz i'm going to need to sleep there all week long.

anyway, thats my rant. thanks for listening. i feel much better :kimmie:

i just came to a realization of the work i have to do.. and i have a week taken off due to the grad show being early this year... so hand in dates are sooner then what they origionally told us... don't decide to do a 4 foot by 4 foot painting in a day, ok? its not smart. self protraits suck, taking slides of "time" seems trite, 20 reductive prints, about 5 drawings, and a box. and i have to design a medal for provincails, and write a paper on something i dont really understand.
all this in two weeks.... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

i deal with a work load like that on a near constant basis.....plus i procrastinate like crazy which makes it even worse...so i know exactly what your going through.
