the drink one of the last safe places in this city?? that place has quite a history of violence as hammered pointed out. granted things have been pretty tame since it went mainly electronic..

it's unfortunate these things happen in reasonably sized cities, but it could be a lot worse.. at least you don't have bars being firebombed and multiple shootings inside clubs like you do in some other parts of canada

^ The Drink has never been a safe location, in fact it's the only club that I've been searched for weapons, drugs, and been scanned in the same night. I've always had a wierd vibe there ... as for sonar , that really sucks because I love friday night Vivid Sessions.

after dance revolution on saturday... myself, martin and jenni... drove by richards and saw it closed down..... ppl on the main street crying.. cops ambulence.. it sucked ass.... but u kno.. Vancouver is a pretty mellow place for shootings and stabbings and crap like that at clubs...

i remember in Montreal.. there would be one pretty much every weekend.. shootings and stabbings arent cool.. and even tho Vancouver.. or BV in general doesnt have that many.. they shouldnt have them anyways...

someone at work was telling me there was ANOTHER SHOOTING at sonar, sunday night? i find that kinda hard to believe, but he told me that a police officer was involved, and an innocent bystander was shot in the leg by the cop!?!

is any of this really happening? or are people just making up stories so i go to shine instead of sonar?

did you guys hear what happened... some guy threw a penny off the cn tower and there was 3000 people walking on the sidewalks in toronto and it landed beside one of them.... it would have killed him....

moral of the story.... toronto is not a safe place anymore... actually just to be safe just stay out of ontario altogether....
