Picture a group of 5-7 friends (I dont remember the number, it was 3 or 4 years ago), all live in Richmond, out for a social function in New West, wednesday night. Most have school the next day, bright and early. Just missed the last skytrain, and thus the last direct bus home. Watch them catch a but to metrotown, then to downtown, then to marpole, only to see the last bus into richmond drive away.

Watch 5-7 odd young people waste 5 hours waiting for the 98 to start running again.

I HATE taking the bus for that reason.
When I was going to school I missed my morning bus sooo many times. Its so stressful trying to make it to the stop on time only to see the bus zoom by.

i hate seeing people running for the skytrain. another one comes right away.

it's even worse when they put their hands into the doors stopping them from closing and HALTING the entire skytrain. thanks you selfish bastards.

In vancouver it might be alright to miss a bus cause another comes 10 or 15 minutes away but in coquitlam and in particular after 10 if you miss a bus some of the buses only run on the hour.

Try missing one of those by a minute and having to wait almost as f ull horu
