well, eating uncontrolled amounts of junk food does cause a rise in cholesterol and diabetes, and produces lots of other effects that can't be reversed. being on antibiotics can change hormone levels. blah, there are countless examples. i dont think you can firmy draw a line between which (smoking or putting things in your body) is worse...
