I used to have alot nightmares when I was younger, until I discovered that if I thought about the things I was having nightmares about ie giant spiders, knife weilding dolls ect then I would not dream about it during the night... after doing this for awhile I just stopped having the nightmares all together.

I have ultra-vivid dreams... its weird, sometimes they get so real I can't distinugish dream from reality... very rarely do I have nightmares though... I also have moments where my mind is awake and present in reality but my body isn't... funny, because my mom is experiencing the opposite (body awake, mind asleep) and screams in the middle of the night because she dreams that people are breaking into the house...

I dont think I really dream anymore unfortunatly but it also means no nightmares.. I havnt had one I could remember in about 10 years maybe longer..
PS:: Who has ever seen the B movie The Things.. It was pretty trippy all about some sort of alien type monsters that can only live in the dark. As kids they made you have night terrors and eventually implant a tracking device in you so they can come back for you as an adult to eat your skin mmmmmmmmmmmm....

ive had really scary nightmares that seem so real that im actually there. But after a while you learn to control your dreams by thinking of stuff that dosnt scare you. CaN anyone else control their dreams like that?
