The simple is that we do drugs to escape the dangers of facing what we fear the most. It would be very cliche to say "society or reality." Actually we fear ourselves.

You have to make a stand, stand-up to your self and stop using. There are only excuses to keep using, but in the end, you will win when you control what makes you happy. I have a beautiful girlfriend who I love and that is enough for me. Good luck.
