I feel like so unproductive not going...and i hate working.
what schools are easy to get in? ( i cant get into cap yet)

One other option is looking for a job you can move up in... with maybe a corse or too... like how about bar tending? You already had experince with that in the uk right... well maybe up grade your skills with a course?

The program I took at capp was more of a cirtificate... all we needed was highschool.

there are many correspondance agencies out there that help you finish high school

you should check up with the one at the VSB.... you can start anytime as well.... do it! its self paced so what you should do it goto the correspondance agency every day and get yoru shit done as soon as possible.

i could of never taken a year off. after two months of summer, i needed to go back! i hate wasting time. lots of ppl say 'it'll give me time to think about what i wanna do' but really you will figure that out more at college/uni.
But yah.. you most likely can get into douglas. All you need is a pass in grade 12 english.

You can register as an adult student and upgrade your HS at college, Court.

some courses say u need prereq's like principles of math 11 with a grade of c or better, same with english 11 or 12 or something... some courses say u need math 12, if u dont have them try getting signed up through a sign in/out sheet the first day of class.. when the teacher says "got all ur prereqs?" u just say yah and he'll sign u in lol..but your loss if its harder then u expected

From what I remember reading in the capp colege registration (im sure many coleges) is to get in sometimes just letting them know youve had personal experince say if you practiced the trabone for years, or like you TRAVELD for a long time... they will highly take this into concideration and maybe just over look your grades/highschool transkript. Otherwise go do some up grading. College is so diffrent then highschoool, and after awhile math/english come back so fast and seem to be easer then you remember :D

That is so untrue. I gained more education through travelling than I ever could by sitting in a classroom and it wasn't a waste of time.

yah i know, but i meant sitting on ur ass at home, working a get no where job.
I have been travelling too, to europe etc. and i leanred alot. some ppl cant afford to do both travel and go to college. and yah you learn alot when you travel that you cant learn in a classroom but you also learn a lot in a classroom that you would never learn by traveling.

HIGH TEN! I dont think theres a right or wrong answer... but I know that taking that first year or two off and traveling has been by far the best thing ive done in my whole life for myself!

this reminds me... that that new privately owned university, can-west university or whatever, have an entrace requirement of only 60% or something... but with a high tuition.

I'd say upgrade your highschool marks.
