Just a heads up here but from my experience as both a customer and in sales/customer service having a temper tantrum doesn't help you. As said some people out there just have a serious chip on their shoulder but in most cases are just trying to do their job. The reality is that a lot of minors try to cheat the system so they can buy booze. I'm sure that a cleark would get in trouble if they we caught selling to a minor so they have to be careful. If you do get someone that's being an ass and trying to flex just ask to speak with a manager. If they do have an attitude problem the manager already knows and will probably just pat them on the head and tell them to sell it to you.

BC Liquor stores are unionized and the managers are not, the managers cannot make the cashier sell booze to someone they find underage (or over age with improper id)

my problem in this whole thing is that every place I go to (clubs, stores for ciggs, liquor stores) they never look at the signature, and if the signature doesn't match cause they were written 12 years apart well then get the person to sign a piece of paper. Does the picture not mean anything anymore?

I wrote an email to the BCL and got this reply (pretending to be you):

When I used to check ID's I just used to ask whats you star sign and if they stmbled around tyring to figure it out I knew it wasn't their ID.

if you look under 25 then yes, i agree, check i.d.

at Panchos last night, there were cops everywhere so the door men were EXTRA annal.

Mike's drivers License is all broken and chipped off, they gave him a hard time for that, and Jessica gave her bank card as a second piece and they wouldn't accept it!

I don't think you're missing out on anything.

No, I don't know the entire horoscope but when you are using fake id or someone elses id people hardly ever check that information out and you can see it on their face. Everyone knows their own start sign so if you have to think about it you're proberly using a fake id.

i almost got kicked out of the liquor stor a while back because i laughed at the cashier when she asked me for 2 pieces of id ..

and she was going to kick my friend out of the store too, he is older than i am .. and i am older than 25 .. so lets say they are serious about it .. its kinda comical though ..
