parents and holidays

wow this is so ridarc.. my mom is yelling at me becuase im not celebrating chinese new years with them. (i didn't go to dinner last night and didnt go to the temple with them today) first off..I WASN'T INFORMED WHAT TIME DINNER WAS SUPPOSE TO BE. and SECOND OFF...im not religious! buddhist temples are intimidating. AND THIRD OFF....WE HAVE ANOTHERRRRR DINNER TMRW NIGHT ANYWAYS!!!! anyways... ya so she goes off on a limb how all my friends are "caucasion" and i treat myself fully white and ignore chinese new years. i dont care much for it.. like what am i suppose to do..wear a chinese dress and prance around doin a chinese dance. uhhh. so the inner bitch in my came out and i shot back at her how i celebrate christmas while they dont..and now they get a taste of how i feel on xmas day. i think its fair that they dont celebrate xmas and now i dont celebrate chinese new years. ugh..... cultural clash in the house. so weird.

im gonna wear my chinese shirt to school tmrw to make my mom happy.

she gave me red pocket money yesterday and i told her "oh you dont have to" in chinese..and she got SOOOO OFFENDED. i was tryin to be a good daughter and not take money from my parents..but she was more into the "lucky money" thing... so i put my head down said "sorry mom" and took the money. UGH.
