those people who work there are SO RUDE
(now, i did meet one guy there who was a doll, so i know that not every person who works there is a dick, but alot of the ones i've met are)

generalizations, there's always a couple bad seeds in each sector. i've never had problems with getting my passport.


i think that -most- people that work with a solely commission based salary tend too be jerks. i understand that they need too put food on the table, but some can be ruthless, manipulative, misleading bullies. it's sad when you see a good person get too consumed in their work ways and bring it into their personality and everyday life.
realtors, contractors, car sales men, tow truck drivers etc.

i also heard that the trucking industry is getting a little crazy. that annacis island murder last month, the sikhs have been undercutting one another.

tow truck drivers are hardly bullies.
they're not trying to SELL you a product.
your car broke down, you need to tow it.
one way or another you'll have to tow it.
hardly a product pusher.
sure, you may try to shop around, but the companies generaly have the same prices for short tows.
i should know, i worked dispatch in one office that had 13 companies in it.
all had diffrent rates. but not by much!
sure, tow truck drivers work on comission, but it's not like they are bullies that have to sell you something you don't want or need.
right?
what other option is there?
call another tow truck company who will quote you the same price give or take 5 dollars.
or leave your car on the side of the road?

I remember watching a show about a study done on the best and worst jobs... best job was: golfer... as much pay as any other pro athlete without any of the demanding physical activity... worst job: dishwasher... I know that from experience...
