People that say "mom.......

You know when you're talking with someone who isnt related to you but still insists on not including "My" in a sentence concerning family members. For instance "Mom was jumping over the fence" or "Yes Matt, grandma told me about that" Understand? this doenst really piss me off I just never understood why they didn't include the MY part. its not our grandma o our mother its yours!

on the reverse side of this, it really pisses me off when my sister will say something like this to me:

Sister: Yeah, my mom hates when people do that
Me: It's MY mom, too. Just because I don't live at home, doesn't mean I have relinquished family ties.

I have a problem with that; calling my mom 'MY MOM' to my siblings. but i think it's because i've been out of the house for so long so every time i talk about her it's to friends.
