Ok so I understand that people have hard days. And that being a manager can be stressfull. But yesterday I just couldnt take any more of my managers bull shit. For some reason for the last couple days he has been using me as a punching bag. And then after he has ripped into me, he tries to explain he was just stressed out and tries to be buddy buddy again.

But no it's not ok to start yelling in my face, telling me that i'm breaking his stuff ( which wasn't broken by me, or isn't even broken after all) and that he shouldn't have to help me out with things from time to time.
The thing is he is hired by my dad to manage one of his painting jobs. His job is to deligate jobs and answer our questions. But for some reason he doesn't seem to get that part.

So yesterday I drive into the parking lot and before I even get out of my car. He is waving this pole at me screaming again. " I told you not to fuck with my shit. Stop breaking everything god dam it! You think you can just do whatever the fuck you want!!!!" (nice start to the day huh) So I just about pulled out of the drive way. Then he runs up and says he is having a meeting.
So I get out gritting my teeth and listen. So all of a sudden he starts giving the sob story that he is just to busy to be doing everything for us. And that we should stop breaking his stuff because he has to pay for it. ( he doesn't my dad pays him if he has to get anything new) And he is looking at me.
Guess what the shit he was yelling at me about wasn't even broken.

So to sum things up i'm not working there anymore. I'm not about to deal with someone that does not know how to manage a team properly. You would think the guy was bi polar or something.

But whatever my dad has me on a new job site. I just feel bad for the next person this guy decided to scapegoat.

thats fuckin weak.... Someone obviously don't know how to run a business. Bet you he is taking losses and is blaming anything and everything on others when its all because of him. Only reason why he is stressed is because HE fucked up on something BIG TIME and wants to hide it.

yah it's all good now. my dad needed me on another job anyway. He said he would rather me not be near that other guy, because he can tell he doesn't know how to manage a team yet properly. But he can't let him go because he needs to get that big project done. Boy did my dad get a bunch of phone calls though. He was yelling at me right infront of the property manager and tentants on the complex we were painting.
I was just sitting there like WTF?!?!?!

I'd never let ANYONE other then my parents yell at me. Last time someone yelled at me was the principal in my high school years and years ago.... Worst mistake EVER.... Told dad and dad yelled at him. YOU NEVER EVER FUCKIN SCREAM AT MY KID EVER UNDERFUCKINSTOOD....

yah well I really could have taken a strip off him. But I was just to angry at the time. I don't think I could have gotten the words out. I just left and went for a drive. Called my dad. And got put on another job site. I just hope that he realizes that if you treat people like shit they arn't going to stand it very long. And he may be looking at a very small crew soon.
