You can switch over to the rogers network y'know. Just scan your GSM networks and you'll usually be given the choice of Fido or Rogers... Rogers has more cell towers especially since they're integrating the Fido towers into their network.

dude ....mine said when you called that my number wasnt even assigned and i was soo pissed off all night on friday(sat..am) i was going to kill someone i was right in the middle of a inportant conversation after the bar ahhhhhh!!! my network wouldnt even let me switch over till like 1130am the next day...so i feel your pain...but i have to admit my plan is cheap so im pretty happy...45 unlimited a month....oh yeah cant go wrong

i hate how it randomly scans for network when im outside OR inside

now i can only get "FIDO" network, i use to get "ROGERS" for the first few months when i just got the phone

yea me neither my network is always really good, I enjoy the low prices of Fido so i can chat on the phone as much as I like

Sometimes I will have a few calls a day dropped by my phone, I live about 600 feet from the tower so the signal is strong, and I have what I think is a good phone, so I think they are still having a few glitches in their network getting it merged with Rogers. Dropped calls only happen every couple of weeks or so.

Their reliability is not yet as good as Telus, but good enough for most purposes.

Main reason I have Fido is the unlimited incoming calls, excellent deal. And the per-second billing.
