Don't call me and ask if someone called you from this number - it is a business, there are over 500 employess in this building alone. And no I will not try to find out who called you....GET A FREAKING LIFE!

I think it is the most annoying thing that people do, personally.

Most homes have average, 4 people in them, damned if I am going to walk around a house and ask everyone if they called somone and didn't leave a message.

I have voicemail, if they want to leave me a message, they will.

And quite frankly, I have caller ID to see whose call I don't want to answer, not whose call I missed.

Me " im sorry sir/ma'm this is the switch board number and there are hundreds of ppl in our building including employee's and students that may have dailed your number. do you have ANY idea who it may have been that called you? were you requesting information about our school, or did you have a recent appointment??? if not, how can i help you further?"

Wow Bri - you are far more polite than I am - I just tell them there are too many employees and there is no way I am going to try and help them figure it out.

I never call back random numbers that call my phone to see who it was. if it was someone I know and it was important, they will call me back.

I dont have voice mail...I hate it with a passion I use my caller ID to know who's phoning and if I want to answer and to know who's call's I've missed. Most of the time I dont get strange numbers calling me.
