i know i said no politics for awhile, but im going to post up some links and articles from time to time. The following are surrounding the montreal based company SNC Lavalin Group that is and will continue to supply 300-500 million bullets (small calibre) to the US War Drive in Iraq.

This is one of several examples of the government of Canada taking an active role or allowing private companies to take an active role in the war in Iraq, after Feb of 2003 when it was stated that we would not support the War in Iraq by then prime minister Jean Chetien.

Other examples of Canada being involved in the war, include a reported ten pilots involved in bombing missions, a rotating force of 25-50 troops, a support force with an aircraft recon force as well as bing involved in the last vote on the latest constitution draft. Well everytime some one disagrees with you you bring up a whole lotta stuff that has been said times before basicaly making it seem that your way is the right way and we are wrong. I do not force or aggressively press my beliefes on a public who may think otherwise. If you say you aren't doing that then it would be a bold faced lie. What gives you the right to say that my beliefs are wrong? This is the holier then thou attitude I feel come off from you and others like you. Even when someone comes up with good arguments and has been in the industry you supposedly know everything about and how it all works, you eventually dissmiss them as being lesser to your all great knowledge of how the world works. I don't agree with everything that goes on but I don't pretend like I know everything that is going on. What good is picking apart somebodies post gonna do you, you say you don't want people taking shots at you but you do the same to others just with a lot of words and in a round about way. I for one just wont bother putting up with it, you said you were gonna stop posting this political shit then in a matter of what 2 days boom a doozy of a post glad to see you have the will power of Robert Downey jr.

i wasn't in that industry ive just bid on, was awarded and administrated rather high value construction contracts tendered by several differnt government agencies. so ive worked with bearucrats quite alot and i know what their policies are for tenduring contracts as well as how ignorant they are of things outside their specific area of responsibilty. knowing what i know i just doubt many people in the federal government even know about this contract. i also find the idea that the government can/should control what individual companies do is quite absurd, i also find the idea that the actions of snc tec have anyhting to do with canadian government policy to the war in iraq extremely assinine.

i said its bullshit for a number of reasons first of all, the government of canada does not have a stake in snc tec, does not regulate snc tec's operations and shouldnt, and probably wasnt even aware of snc tecs operation's before the contract was even awarded then you started writing somehting resembling a discussion around some sort of hegemonic military-industrial complex with the canadian government and big business in cahoots with each other and invading countries/oppressing people for fun or profit and i said that is MOSTLY untrue ...thats all i said
