so he has me on some HUGE ass pills im suppose to take for 24 hours, and if i these dont do anything for me, then its surgery on a friday night weeeeeeeeow!

since im such a huge fuckin pussy about ER rooms and surgery etc. be thankful for your health and wish me the best of luck.

ps. since were american, we celebrate thanksgiving today and it SUCKS smelling fresh turkey/mashed potatoes and gravy and I CANT EAT ANY OF IT!

thats ironic cuz i have tonsilitous too.............its a fucking shitty disease..........and on top of that i have symptoms of mono..! i have to go back to the doctor in a week to see if they have to be taken out or not.........:( it really sucks

i had my tonsils out threee years ago - mine went bad and i ended up with scarlet fever.... they were naturally abnormally large, which wasnt really a problem until i got sick which happened alot. the way i was told was that they were acting like bad sponges - sucking up the germs but then letting them multiply rather then kill them. whenever i got sick, if i stuck my tongue out, my tonsils would touch - i feel your pain buddy.

my surgery wasnt so smooth. my doctor didnt believe in coderizing (sp?) the wounds because it gives less scar tissue. but i was in alot of pain for the first week, and was pretty nautious from the little bit of blood in my tummy. they gave me percaset after the first day, so i was pretty much asleep for the next three days.

but really it was so bloody worth it. i dont get sick as much anymore, my throat isnt sore when i wake up, i dont snore anymore, and i never have to hear "oh you just have tonsilitous" anymore.

smoothies were my best friend.

and dont worry, you may or may not have a few days of pain and or discomfort - but the results are fucking awesome.

dude, im not having my tonsils removed, i have one that is absessed and needs care as soon as possible.

i went to the ER today at the hospital in new west, waited for 5 hours, got to see somebody, he looked at my glands my throat and went holy fuck.

i got 2 shots of liquid codine, and an iv in my arm for 30 mins. i have to go back tonight at 10pm to have another 30 min iv session, and then tomorrow morning, i have to go to some specialist in burnaby, have the fluid drained for me, and ill be there for about 8-10 hours.

also, once that is done, i have to go back to the hospital for an iv session twice a day for 2 weeks until im 100 percent.

fuck.

i feel zooooofed, totally out of it.
have to be back to the hospital to get my IV drip of antibiotics for another 30 mins.
then head back home, sleep, and by 8am i have to be at this specialist on kingsway to have all the fluids and shit drained from my neck and mouth.
