i miss open windows, palm trees, air that smelled of flowers, sunset swims, clear turquoise water, the north shore, sea turtles.... i miss hawaii & i miss havin the boyfriend always around.

I just got back from byron bay in australia.

omg... the beaches, the surfing, the laid back people, the shopping, the social acceptability of walking around in a bikini top barefoot. it sucks coming back to uptight vancouverites, crappy clothing stores, colder weather and actually having to wear clothes again. :(

aw, I'm sorry, I thought you knew I was only there till Wednesday! thanks for inviting me to the party though. sorry I left early, I was waaay too tired. I definitely wanna come out to sydney again soon though.


PS. the night after I hung out with you guys, I went to a strip club at kingscross by myself (cuz I was too embarassed to ask anyone in my hostel to come with me). then these guys saw me and felt sorry for me so they invited me to hang out with them. then we went to a lounge, another strip club and then to a live sex show. have you ever been to a live sex show in kingscross? it's pretty disgusting. but I've gotta say, you were right. that kingscross area is a pretty crazy place!

Joanne its in my life long dream to go back and live in Australia for a good 1-5 years. Amazing place espeicaly Byron. I would have to have my place with in a few blocks of the beach and go surfing everyday after work :y:

I totaly miss hawaii already! I'm already planning on going back with my mom before the summer is through. I think I'll try Maui this time though. (Thank you IATA discounts) I'm going to be so poor, but it will be worth it.

All over.

Mainly Northern Victoria, the Northern Territory (spent 4 months on a remote cattle station 400kms out of Alice Springs, and another one out of Katherine) and Western Australia (particularly Carnarvon and Perth).

It rocked. I just waitressed, picked fruit, worked in factories, and as a cattlehand and station cook. It was amazing.

I miss it a lot, especially the weather.

No,I didn't. Not enough time! A year wasn't even long enough to do Australia in my opinion.

I guess its a matter of personal taste. My ex has been to both and he preferred Australia. Mostly a climate and population thing I think.

I get soo depressed everytime I go away and have such an awesome time and then I come back to the "real life". Especailly work... and family drama but that's just how it all goes I suppose. And it just makes you work harder towards another vacation. At least that's what I keep telling myself. :)

didn't go anywhere, just partied it up in vancity.

monday i have to go back to work :(

im going to miss going to bed at 3am and waking up at noon.
