The funny thing is that person most likely is better educated than you. There's a huge influx of immigrants from places like India and Bangladesh that have university degrees, but are relegated to working minial jobs because our government won't recognize these degrees. Hell, I've met several dishwashers from India that have various degrees in computer and chemical engineering.
