yep 14hrs in Emergency with someone that you love watching them go through test after test is definetly on the horrible side of things. Everytime I get sick or someone that I know does I joke about how I need House to fix me or them.

I agree with the ppl who said to switch doctors. It's always best to get a 2nd or third opinion.
