It is. Play the right song and there's a drink in your hand before the chorus.

The only real downsides to the job are the odd angry drunk who hates the music you're playing, every night there is someone there bringing you two or three requests at a time throughout the whole night and gets mad when you don't play them all, and the hangover the next day.

Even the required presence of Top40 isn't so bad. . I'm drunk by the time the dancing crowd shows up so I just rock out in my booth to it.

And everyone wants to fuck the DJ.

i forgot to hit mute once with a customer on the line.I didnt swear or anything...just said "uuuuuugggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" but I made a quick recovery saying i was just clearing my throat because I had a cold and forgot to hit the mute button.

The only time I ever get in trouble at work is when I roll my eyes at my boss or call her a bitch..which I've done..twice!!

Sometimes my bosses get annoyed because I talk alot too =/
