so being a dj is that easy eh? i think i'll write a 200 page book. it'll be called "how to be a dj" first page will read "buy turntables" the rest will just be coloured paper to draw on, and a couple random pictures of rocks..all the same colour. the book will not come with drawing utensils..

To be a DJ all you need to know is how to play background music for people.

To be a GOOD DJ is a completely different story. And no, it's not enough to just have crowds like your set, because frankly most of them are fucked up enough that they wouldn't be able to tell the difference if you were playing a bad set anyways.
