ALL STAR PERFORMANCE BY ELECTRONIC MUSIC BIG NAMES INCLUDING DAVID MORALES, MARCO V, JOHN OO FLEMING, STANTON WARRIORS, AND MORE TO CELEBRATE MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS.

“Culture ONE”, Bangkok International Dance Music Festival will be spread out over 4 arenas; Culture ONE main Arena, Amnesia Ibiza Arena, Godskitchen Arena, and Dudesweet Arena; serving up Hip Hop, House, Breakbeat, Techno, Electro, Trance/PsyTrance and even some Indietronica rock.

The festival will feature nearly 25 performers including David Morales, Marco V, John OO Fleming, Stanton Warriors, and Filthydukes.

The music will be the main feature of a buffet of activities, ranging from art exhibitions, dance performance, lounging areas by the lake and of course massaging facilities. So no matter what you’re into, there will be something there for you, in this one day festival that can only improve the electronic music scene in Bangkok.

Tickets will be available starting December 1st, 2007 by Thai Ticket Major at 650 baht ($21 CAD) pre-sale with one drink for general admission and 850 baht ($28 CAD) with one drink on the event date. Door opens at 4.00PM

this show was mental! networked so many new people. the stages were slow at first (5pm-9pm) but raging closer to noon (midnight).

it was a blive show, so Bacardi was well cheap. 100 bhat for a redbull/rum or like 3.50$ cad.

stanton warriors as good as they come were kinda crappy, playing big room beats, main stage stuff. personally I prefer them at Richards or somewhere a little more intimate.

the hipster stage was rocking hard with both great djs and live bands. sadly the stage headliners Filthy Dukes got pulled off an hour into their closing set becuase the cops wanted to start the shutdown. like 1.5 hours early!! lame. oh well I was pretty jacked on redbull and exhausted from walking so much. it was due time to get home.

show was dope. When the stages were empty they all had awesome thai DJs playing. IMHO when they party started getting busy, the music started to get shitty. Except for the Indie-Electro stage which had some wicked local talent and my favorite DJ of the night...Xu Tag of Twilight ActionGirl from Malaysia. I was dancing soo much, I didn't have time to take pictures, which is disappointing in retrospect.

Filthy Dukes ended the night on that stage, but as Myles said, got pulled early. They were rocking it pretty hard. Headed over to stanton, but didn't really care at that point. My night was over.

I invited a wicked way to find tagg the DJs you like at a festival. It involved spit and a finger and an ink jet printed line up.

PS. GalaticSoul was good too on the house stage too... right before Toni Varga who played too much "Davie Street" House.

I must say though, Tony did manage to keep tonnes of hawt girls at his stage.
