If U want a sick external audio card and serious about digital recording. Consider getting the Digidesign M-box and you can run Pro Tools LE on your XP or Mac system.

If you really wanna go hardcore, get a digi 002. :tounge1:

I got a good little sound card for $60 for my dell. It's probably cheaper than a MD player.

This is a tad off topic but an interesting detail, for the MIDI crew.

USB is faster, offers multiple Midi port therefore, 128 channels are possible if 8 devices are used. So if your going into production theres a step you want to take.

I used to have a Harmen Karden CDWR or something like that but the thing was a shit , Always distorting or it was too quiet I could rarelly ever get it right .
