THE NOTWIST.. although lots of indie-emo-collegeites turned up for their show, they deserve to be fucking big. I feel an irresistible urge to make out with my boyfriend every time I hear "Consequence"..

LUCY PEARL.. take the guy from Tony Toni Tone, the chick from En Vogue, and someone else.. can't remember what they did.. and you have Lucy Pearl. Pure soulful R&B genius.

most slept on dj - PSIDREAM! Pay attention people!! This guy makes his own, wicked tunes, is touring, is a rock-solid dj (though he learned to mix from a master *wink*)

Slept on MC - Ndidi Cascade. She is destined for greater things..

he rhymes about some pretty fucked up shit, but his flow is incredible

ink operated: they are one of the few solid underground hiphop groups that our city has to offer. these guys dont get as much respect in this city as they deserve.

werd..as far as technique and lyrics hes really fuckin talent but the shit he rymes about disturbs me and i really dont like much of the content of his songs..so personally i dotn like him at all.

use your own definition of 'under-recognized'. i was more speaking in terms of the amount of respect and critical recognition an artist gets, not so much popularity.

Thomas Bangalter is also the driving force behind Cassius and a much lesser-known project called "Together".

He is, IMHO, the reason House was invented.

But he's not the underrated one.
