Production question.

I want to sample the vocals from Van Morrison -- TB Sheets for a trip hop track. Specifically the line "And the sunlight shining through the crack in the window pane numbs my brain."

I've tried Soulseek and Google for an acapella. Is there a program out there that allows you to rip specific tracks from a song, or is it a lost cause?

I figured.. but it was worth asking. There's got to be some way to splice specific recording tracks after they've been mastered.

my buddy mark could probly get the vocals off the track. hes a freaking genious with making vocals do anything he wants.. ill find out for ya

That would be gnarly man! If he could rip the vocals for the whole song it would be even better. I've got a insane desire to sample it. The lyrics are amazing.

i've seen programs that were capable of extracting vocals from tracks, only thing is its not really worth it. they don't work that great...most of the time. if i remember the name of the program i'll post it
