Thanks for all the kind words from those who offered some. For those who didn't, I totally understand why. When one first starts going to parties one goes through a phase where BARS = BARSTARS, and ALCOHOL = EVIL. Those attitudes change quite rapidly though. Anyone who has discovered the glory of an ice-cold beer on a sketchy Sunday afternoon knows what I am talking about.
What really had/has me confused though, is how little understanding there is of SPK/POUND here on F&K. I totally over-estimated the notion of an SPK/POUND ethos in this forum. It seems the POUND crew needs to do a better job of staying visible with, "the kids". In our Palladium days I would not have been surprised if there were 20 underagers in the club on any given Wednesday. This is no longer the case. When Arpy, Dave, and Nolan* are the "old-school" voice of reason here, that tells me something. The life-cycle of the rave/electronic-music/club audience might be even shorter than I had thought. With regard to my initial post, I obviously know every fake-ID trick in the book. I chose not to list them in my initial post out of fear of being viewed as an evil barstar trying to pick-up under-age kids. I should have gone with my other plan. I should have created a fake alias (Is that irony?) and posted something even more trite ending with the phrase "supacuddlyhuggles". Anyways, now that this is all out in the open, here's the easiest thing to do. FIND SOMEONE THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU, BUT IS OLDER!!! Borrow a picture ID and another piece - the second does not have to be a picture ID. Use the ID, give it back. Or... Get that OLDER PERSON WHO LOOKS LIKE YOU to declare a lost driver's license. You pay them for the replacement fee + a case of beer (Is that a catch-22?) or whatever, and keep the "lost" one. Clubs can't track that. *Inkster, I did not include you because I believe you and I are closer to the same "rave-generation", whereas I have always viewed Arpy, Dave and Nolan as the next generation. As far as "old-school" goes, to me that would be Markem, Madlove, Leandro, Riel, Salim, TeamLounge, The All-Good crew, Alvy and Noble House, for what it's worth... |

In response to ID's the two ID policiy isn't that hard to get around cuz its one piece of picture ID, and then one piece of other ID like SIN card, Credit Card, or even an ISIC..... oh and just curious what the hell is serving knees for daddy's car???
