Just in case people didn't hear about this but you can get misdemeanors in the US for:
1) Eating a candy bar on a transit vehicle 2) Spitting on the sidewalk 3) Use of foul language in a public area The US has some messed up laws and even worse some messed up cops that don't have the common sense not to enforce half of them.

DUDE you can get arrested fer shucking peanuts in the street in bremerton!! hahaha.. isnt that fukd up?! its because we have like no real system for getting RID of laws, so there's all these laws that have been around FOREVER and dont even make any sense anymore... laws here can only be modified, they cannot be erased or thrown out.

WHAT THE FUK IS UP WITH THAT?!?!?! my friend almsot got arrested for that like 2 weeks ago, thats when we found out about the law and we were like omg ur joking right? and the cops like, nope and im not gonna write u up this time, but u might wanna think about what u say to people more... haha.. we're like yeah buddy, sure, okay...

and they wonder why they have an over populated prison system. True fact is that there are people in US prisons serving longer sentances for drug possesion than people that have committed MURDER. Whe I studyed the American LEgal system I spent most of the time laughing my ass off. It's really quite comical.

totally dude, its HELLA funny, like serisouly 4 out of 5 ppl are in jail for a non-violent drug crime... which means we are paroling criminals who SHOULD be in jail just to make room for the druggies because of the WAR ON DRUGS.. its so stupid... like people are just down to have a rapist live next door so long as the herb dealers are behind bars!

They don't need to look at them because they scan them through a machine that takes a photo and sends it to their computer - oh and it also takes a resin sample from each card to see where the card's been (ahem been cutting). I've seen the machine at work and talked to the customs officer about it.
