^^ Saturday's @ The Cave are now a Hip Hop night... they are no longer playing the kind of music that they used to.

We certainly realize that times are tough... just like we did before when we ran the night, if you are there before 10PM, girls are in for free and guys are in for $5!

As for noise restrictions... yes, I certainly remember the pain that was when we ran the night there before. Apparently the DJ booth has been moved from upstairs to downstairs whic should make things better overall as there is more sound proofing in that area. We will see...

Thanks for the comment Tim - yeah, the Friday's before were some good times for sure. Deliverance always used to rock it!

Oh and some pre-arranged drink specials will be in full effect!

^ hahhaha yeah well that's a whole other can of worms, other than full crosses on the 't's it's the same font and everything. designers need some inspiration outside of vancity.

the 3/4 tilted drop is what really made the connection for me though on the original flyer, but it's obviously not a professionally produced ad so i guess it doesn't matter until the final flyer for the night comes out.

it's more than the same font, lots of flyers use the same font. it's also the exact same stylized spelling of 'wet'. they both have 3/4 leaning stylized drops. they both lean right. there is not one design element in the wett bar logo that is absent in the wett night club logo.

i don't know where the designs came from and i don't really care. i know the wett bar was called wettbar since at least new years 2000, so it probably outlasts your wett rave flyer design by a long time.

in the end, all i said was that they look the same, if you disagree with me then you're most likely completely blind.

image by association... when people look at that flyer they will think WETT BAR, NOT twisted.

last year there was a company called BALANCE PRODUCTIONS throwing a rave at mile36, the people that run BALANCE the clubnight weren't exactly happy with someone with the same name.

in the end it's about word/image association. if your going to pick a name at least be original.

I won't be surprised if the former wettbar people were to comment on this ini a legal matter.
