As you have pointed out to me MANY times rawb, I am going to have to call bullshit here. The purpose of the "Event & Promo" section is to do just that, promote and advertise events such as this new weekly club night.

Although I do appreciate and have read yours and a few select others feedback and opinions/replies on this night, I would appreciate you taking some of your comments to other forums IE: if Club 7 sucks so bad and is such a dive, then take it to the Punching Bag area or something. The kind of replies that you have made along with a few others provides absolutely no value to the night or our attempt to throw the night in fact, it comes across as being quite negative.

I would appreciate as I am sure others would as well, that you not weight down my post with negative replies that provide no value. If you want to do that, take it to another forum and I will be more than happy to reply there. I am not saying that you don't have freedom of speech here or that the people don't have a right to know details, I am just saying take it to the appropriate forum.

see now this is what I just don't get. because the way I see it rawb the "scene" is dying from lack of support. these l337 "old skoolers" who perch themselves higher then the rest, far too good to even club anymore to support good events. who feel that they best contribute to the scene by not attending but picking absolute pointless fights.. and in text. dood seriously, ether attend and complain.. or shut the fuck up. twisted has done more for the scene then any rawb has done.

uhm, the first quote was a complete joke. i was pointing out how stupid the conversation was.

as for lack of support... i give free hosting, bandwidth and tech to a local club night for thier page on one of my servers, which i pay for. i pay out of pocket for a 'scene board' on another server, and i probably average about hitting 2 clubs a week, which i pay for, and i hit a lot of major events, which i also pay for.

do people do more than me? sure. does twisted do 'more for the scene'? i wouldn't argue against that. (then again, if you want to get technical about it, twisted makes money off 'the scene' and i don't make shit all. between drinks and cover and server bills 'the scene' gets about 75-100 bucks a week out of me.)

all i said was that the wett logo looks like the wettbar logo. which it does. you asked me if i would go and i said i wouldn't, and the reasons i gave had already been expressed in the thread beforehand (club 7 sucks, really quiet).

so i dunno what you are yammering about.

Some of your concerns are valid rawb and they are your opinion. However DELIVERY is what my point is. You can deliver it in a more appropriate or positive/supportive format.

Sorry but I gotta go with rawb on this one. I don't doubt you have good thing going and I've had great times at the night in the past, it's just my opinion that "the club" itself could be a problem. Personally it's bad enough in there to keep me from paying $10 cover to see mainly locals, but that's just me.

I don't think that he is being a leet oldschooler and just dissing this night because he thinks he's hardcore. i think he's dissing this clubnight becasue he thinks its gonna suck. and id have to agree with him..7 alexander is a hole. if twisted wanted to throw a decent club night there would be a billion other venues in this city that are much better.
