This week very special guest all the way from Toronto...

Willar X (Out Of Hand, SystemSoundbar.com, Reform)

Born and raised in Marbella, Malaga, Spain. Had his first experience at a rave on a complex that was situated on the beach with a Live PA by non other then the legendary, “The Prodigy,” back in 1992. Instantly he was hooked to the sound of UK Breakbeat Hardcore. With time, the music changed but nevertheless breakbeats were still his passion. He began DJ-ing in the summer of ’95 and began collecting records as a hobby.

At the age of 19 he moved to Toronto, Canada to further his education, and no currently juggles his DJ-ing and his job as a Digital Media Designer (Web Design/Motion Graphics). Within a year of residing in Toronto, and studying at the time for his career, he gained a weekly appearance on a UK Pirate Internet Radio Show called “The Weekend Rush.”

Not long after, a Toronto listener heard Willar X on the show, one thing led to another, and he landed a gig opening for a rave a The Opera House, Toronto. A year later he was landing gigs all over Toronto as well as other locations in Ontario. Along came residencies with the infamous Hullabaloo happy hardcore parties where Willar X would close out the events with some Oldskool UK Hardcore, also playing most of the World Electronic Music Festivals organized by all the major players in the scene back in those days.

Willar X also ventured into promoting and joined Serenity Industries and who eventually played a key role in the events organizing with his partner and good friend. Priorities however changed and they decided it was time to wrap up a year of great moments and events.

Currently Willar X shares a rotating residency in the backroom, Fridays at System Soundbar with Uncle Bobby and Red Turtle along with weekly residents, Big League Chu and Dave Saddler.
