i think its great that union is briging these dj's, but these nights are way over priced !!!! If I can see ferry corsten for $15 and johan gielen for $20, way am I paying this much for these dj's ???? I mean armin was only $35 and Tiesto was only $40. Why so much for these nights considering they are a way less caliber of dj's ?/?/

Try booking a DJ the 'caliber' of Above & Beyond, don't forget to add on flight costs, extra sound/lighting, flyers/posters, and those booking fees we all love so much.

I understand it's a bit expensive for some of you folks, but the reality is that you will be paying at least this much or more for any club night/rave in Vancouver, usually with 'less caliber' DJs than A&B.

Ferry Corsten has been ridiculously cheap the last two appearances due to a corporate sponsorship, they cover his cost of performance.

Another thing to consider is how spoiled we are in VanCity , to see Dj's the likes of Paavo , Above&Beyond, and even Armin Van Buuren you're going to be paying close to 70-80$ US in country's like Japan , Europe , etc.

15$ CND for Ferry Corsten? Even 30$ to see Above&Beyond? Enjoy the sweet flavor of nectar.

yeah other than toronto, where you can see armin, pdv, ferry and almost everyone else for less than $20 on a weekend at an afterhours event(the guv), a good weekend night with intl djs is always about $20 or more....

also, as a promoter, if you charged just $15 do you really think you'd get twice as many people.....probably not....untill any club just packs it in every weekend it's gonna remain a tad on the pricey side....no way around it, unless of coure the amazing people at goldclub pitch in...lol
