Soundwave music festival 2009 - 10 yr anniversary!

Soundwave is located at Mussell Beach Campground in Ucluelet, West Coast Vancouver Island. It's one of BC's biggest and longest running festivals alongside Shambhala.

Man, this year's lineup is sick. Too bad Noze and Tipper aren't going to try to make it this year. I was seriously down about neither of them showing last year.

^ Uh there are similarities but there are a lot of differences, most of them for the better.

Is anyone else stoked for Solomonic Sound from Philly? They were one of the highlights of my experience at Shambhala in 02

I saw Noze at a music festival in Bratislava a couple years ago,
They were pretty awesome, kinda homo on stage

Man, I read through those links twice and somehow missed Noze both times.

Now I am unbelievably stoked. Like, king ah de min-ee-mahl stoked.

stoked!! playing the liquid soul stage as usual, but also playing an all vinyl set on the renegade sound system. they apparently aren't allowing any digital formats on that stage this year, just wax! should be interesting.

Hey this will be my first time attending...Is there actual camp sites with fire pits, tables etc or is it set up wherever you like native reserve styles?

Yes to the former; nay to the latter. There are fires on the beach at night though. Amazing places to chill and meet people.

they usually allow you to build firepits in your site (if you get the good ones) depending on the forest fire warnings.
