those dj's they have brought in are big time cash. Plaza is a big time $$$ venue not supprized if it cost 30,000 a night. I will say this to the promoters though with all the cash you are thoughing into this party dont forget to setup up coat check again this year because that im sure doesnt cost that much =)

sounds like ninjaboy has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. So far the response for this party has been very positive. through talking to people at clubs, partys, and on the local message boards over the last month people are very supportive of this party. Actually already there is a group of people from Calgary that are talking about coming down to see John Kelly.

Ninjaboy just because YOU dont like the music that is being brought down dosnt mean everyone dosnt. Everyone here is entitled to their own opinions yet you seem to look down upon people because of their taste in music. Im guessing you wont be at the party and honstly i doubt your sarcastic bitter attitude will be missed.

Oh and in response to your little remark about same talent being brought down. John Kelly Has never played in Vancouver before and he is the main headliner for this show.

I dont know what you have againts me and honstly Im not even going to try and understand you, its not even worth my time.

How many replies have you seen on here (unique users) stating last slinky was the worst party ever.
On the other local message board (electronicdynasty.com) most of the replies were either the guy who started the thread, or his friends.

Yeah last Slinky was hurt but you never know about this one, some of the headliners look pretty dope. Although I do love breaks and I don't know exactly how much is being played there, though it doesn't sem like a lot. But I probably won't end up goin unless a lot of my buddies or f&k peeps go.

Don't take this tha wrong way either.....the last thing I would do is diss a party based on its line-up, venue and anything els especially before the party itself.....the only way you'll ever find out is by going. It does look like a real good party, but the tix do look a little high priced.......I'm not complainin, I'm just sayin.

But your right, it looks like an alright party, and even though it's been brought to my attention that now ALL the dj's on this bill have been here before, it could still be good.

John Kelli played at summer love. But its not the same John Kelly that has played at Gatecrasher, Gods Kitchen etc.

There are 2 John Kelly's One is a breaks DJ from the USA. We are bringing John Kelly from the UK. Both play diffrent genres of music. The John Kelly that is headlining Slinky has not been to Vancouver before

This line-up doesn't even raise an eyebrow for me.

The only way I'll be at this party is if I get dragged into it. Although,,, they'll probably sell enough tix simply because of the name 'Slinky' and of course it's a Plaza party!

Honestly,,, I'd rather sit at home and practice/listen to my own records than waste my time attending this party.

me and the coquitlam cartel plur thugs are gonna dressup in kandy up to our elbows, white gloves, etc..and were gonna walk around looking for meth dealers and tekers to beat the sht out of.

we gotta keep meth outta the scene yo!..the only problem is we don't have any kande so were gonna have to make some...that means we'll have a kande making party!! yea PLUR!!
