Uh Danny, I guess you haven't heard John Kelly before. Picture a musical cross between Tiesto and James Holden. He's fucking awesome, and he'll drop a comparable set to Tiesto, AvB, PvD, etc.

I'm sure he is,,, although it's still not worth it in my eyes. I hate the fucking Plaza... that's the main reason why I won't go. Too many got damn undercover cops and fuckin security guards. I like to be able to relax and drink alcohol/smoke weed when I'm partying. I don't need to be worrying about looking over my damn shoulder the entire night. It's just not my idea of a party.

I regret saying what I did about John Kelly,,, and I take that back. Other than him the rest of the line-up is lack luster and nothign that I haven't seen/heard before.

good points danny! great minds.. :D but yeah I donno, I enjoy plaza parties, but I think they will be the only ones I try to errrr.. get silly at.. and just drink/smoke at the parties that allow so!

i'm so excited! i love mainland parties, i'm so sick and tired of the island, its the same thing over and over and over again!

Yay! Plaza's back (AGAIN!)

I was just thinking the other day how I'd like to go to a plaza party again. I miss running around all night and dancing my ass off. Good thing about Plaza : there's always something good in either the BC Room or the theatre room. YAY.

My step bro was never into elctronica, but mostly into rap/hip-hop. Before he moved to Edmonton, he left behind a CD book of a bunch of shitty rap CD's....I never realized he had also owned a copy of "Slinky Presents SuperClub DJ: John Kelly" until my girlfriend was flipping thru it the other night..... Holy Shit!! A Diamond in the rough!! John Kelly spins some sick shit! Definitely reminiscent of Tiesto! I'm there!

Of course tix starting at $45 is a bit steep and Plaza is nothing special but personally I am stoked because there is going to be dope music. Yeah; nothing that special.........but a lot better than cranking up your favourite tunes and dancing in your house.
