Week 3 and still going strong.... we've decided to slow things down for you this week. Starting off the night will be myself and Kaos playing some 2-step, breaks and speed garage followed by Cinto (FL style breaks and some of his own tight-ass producing), Scotty Oh (speed garage) and finally Size small (funky & hard breaks). This night is somewhat important because a) We haven't seen Size small on Vancouver soil in awhile and b) Cinto's off to Florida for a quick getaway.

Haha, the name is PERFECT.

Me and my buddies were coming up with some suggestions to about the location of the DJ booth. I'll either just flag you down at the 7 or I'll toss you an email.

oh god no... i dont know about you guys but ive heard enough "wooting", its become sucha popular *trendy* word.. the flyer looks nice and simple, but just that "woot" word is grrr.. then again there arent much w words.. wicked, witchy, what, whopper, whosh, wish, wap, was, with, word, whistle, wreak, etc.

im probably too young to be attending this event anyways. (shrugs) april ill be of age.

The word "woot!" was chosen cuz we wanted something simple and catchy that would describe the type of atmostphere we were trying to bring out on Wednesdays at 7.

Hahahaha "Whopper" wouldn't fit in there. It's been done already :D:

i don't really approve of the name either... but i don't like stabby's way of reacting to it... even though her reasoning is similar to mine...

i say, "whatever sells"...
or at least, whatever you think sells...

it's the hoochies & barstars that bring the money into the clubs, so u mite as well use a word that appeals to their "culture"... i don't think the interests of a poor raver matter...

maybe i was a lil blunt about it, i think the ideas good, the name just doesnt interest me, but like i said, im not of age and until i am old enough -- my opinion means shit all. WEEEE. go barstar!

I think the name is perfect. Who cares of "woot" is an internet buzzword. Trying to come up with meaningful yet cool names is usually an exercise in futility, so something simple often works better. My second choice would be F&K Wednesdays... boring, but better than anything else. If you look at other nights out there (lime, pound, etc), none of them have particularly wonderful names.
