First of all, I'm surprised to see this "cheerfully" meant thread has turned once again to an unhappy one, especially at form-kaos. I have no intent to "flam" anyone or ridicule anyone by what I am about to say, especially not to a fellow party-goer.

About the whole age thing, I find it very very hard to believe anyone would judge a person due to their age?? I really wonder if one would decide on the outcome of this party so quickly had they NOT known the age of the promoters. We're not asking for PITY, we're simply just posting on a forum to inform people who DO want to come check it out.

I don't get why the phrase "all girls' production" is being flammed so badly. Simply it is stating that the production are girls because the scene is so much male dominated (not that I dislike that, just that I believe females and males can provide good parties alike). I'm getting alot of support from females who have now come to realize, females can throw parties too. Thanks to all who have given their full support***

As for putting our NAMES on our site, notice that it is under the section "TEAM" with contact information. It is there to help anyone who do not know any promoters personally that wishes to get tickets. I don't get how that is SHOWING OFF or trying to get CREDIT. I really doubt anyone is really interested or even care about who threw the party, just as long it's a good one.

As for flamming Asian promoters and Asian thrown raves....COME ONNNN. I can't believe anyone would judge due to a promoter's race??? Now there's a tad bit of prejudice....So you're saying Chinese people don't have the right to RAVE or PARTY? Please don't diss Phantom or EMP or any of the other production companies who WORK THEIR ASSES off to put together a party. If you had gone to any of theirs, you'd know...I remember some of you made comments about Mike's party Terminal Velocity? It ALSO turned out to be a great success.

Its not about "Honger" parties or whatever. To be honest, the Asian kids are the ones who actually support the scene. For example, if the Asian kids didn't come out to parties like, "Frostee 4" or Exert's "iMix" or Sweet/AMP events, holy fuckin' God, the place would've been so damn empty. Which comes to mind, they're the ones who spice up parties with a good vibe.

You have to understand......without a mix of people, regardless of race, there are especially certain groups of people who support the scene and do make a big difference. From my own experience by throwing Terminal Velocity, my party would've been SO freakin' bunk if the Asian kids didn't come to my party, otherwise, I would've filed for bankruptcy or something similar to that extent.

As for Asian promoters, what's wrong with the Crank-it Girls? They're Asian, so what? Doesn't necessarily mean that they're "Hongers," or another group of hurtin' promoters. What about Exert? Jay C is Asian. What's wrong with that? EMP, Phantom, 604elf, etc? Dude, if you've ever been to their parties, holy doodle, you've missed out and you'd have one hell of an awesome time.

Surely enough, there are some bunk promoters out there who are just in for a cash grab, but when somebody, like the girls @ Crank-it, work their minds off into a topsy-turvy, they truly do deserve the respect of others whether they make or lose money.

So stop bitchin' 'n' whinnin'. YOU're the ones who reflect the rave culture. By constantly bitching and flamming promters, its not gonna go anywhere especially when you want to boycott a certain promoter because of their age, sex, race etc. You get the idea.

you're 16? please, take time to do kid things and grow up. rave promoting is not a happy fun business. you will be involved with sums of money that people your age are not used to handling. you will be responsible for hundreds of people and keeping them happy. promoting has some really dark and ugly bits, it's not really that much of an enjoyable ride, especially with people that have something that atkes up half thier day, like school.

you will make a few freinds, but you will lose more. i can assure you that everyone working for your company will not be friends within a year if you continue throwing parties.

please also consider that raves are a product you are putting out into the market. what can you bring to the table that that other parties don't bring? themes don't sell parties.

anyways, if you're determined i wish you the best, but im pretty sure when you are older you will wish that you had more of a teen life.

age is not a state of mind. age is a pretty accurate rough indicator of cumulitive life experiences and maturity level. 16 year olds should be passing out due to shit mixes of hard alcohol and having regrettable sex with thier peers. 16 year olds should not undertake things that could put them thousands of dollars in debt with djs/gangs out to bootfuck them.

16 year olds should be doing homework, or at least procrastinating about it, they should not be put in charge of hundreds of drug users in a confined space.
