Street Parade Zürich Switzerland !!!

Saturday, August 7th I went to the 13th edition of the Street Parade in Zürich and it was the most insane party I have ever been to.
The whole city was a rave and there were 1 million people.
There were 7 or 8 huge stages on the main squares with dj´s like dave 202, mauro picotto, dj vortex and many more.
31 trucks were rolling through the city, each of them with a different kind of music, mostly trance and techno though. People were dancing on the trucks, beside, behind, or just on the sidewalks waiting for each truck to drive by.
It was different from the raves in Canada, because not that many people did E.
Most of them got reeallly drunk, and everybody was able to get alcohol everywhere, at the hot dog stands..... train station, just everywhere....

Lots and lots of hot girls, it was insane.....
Anyway, it was awesome there and I had lots of fun. Mauro Picotto´s set was very good, and so was dj vortex.

No, Believe me. It's just Europe & Japan that has the really good stuff. Propably less social problems too.

Raves are different in Europe.... In Canada, 13 or 14 year olds go to raves, too, and get fucked up. In Europe the average age for raves is higher and lots it´s possible to get alcohol everywhere...
Lots of ppl do drugs though, too.
There is alot goin on in North America, too, but Europe has more famous dj´s, especially Holland and Uk.
Goa must be a fucking dope Island.... Has anyone been there ??
And I dont know lots about Japan...
Anyway, u won´t see parties like the street parade or dance valley or trance energy in NA, but the parties there are dope,too.

fack.. Ibiza is off the hook!! if anyone is ever planning on going.. seriously go like the weekend the clubs open.. cuz accomidation is still super cheap.. like 24 euro a night for a double with a kicthen and shit..and the peek season wont be at its max yet

Zurich vibrates to techno beat

The cobbled streets of Zurich once again turned into the largest dancefloor in Europe as 800,000 revellers took part in the 16th Zurich Street Parade on Saturday.

But organisers warned that without financial support, this parade could be the last one.

After German trance and techno legend Sven Väth kicked off proceedings at last year's parade, which attracted 800,000 people, the honour of leading the 1pm "warm-up" – in dry but cool temperatures of 15 degrees – fell this year to Egyptian DJs Aly & Fila.

At 2.40pm the 23 creatively decorated – and "climate neutral" – Love Mobiles turned on their engines at Utoquai in the Seefeld quarter and headed off at 0.5km/h around the lakefront via Bellevue, Quaibrücke and Bürkliplatz, planning to arrive at Hafendamm Enge at around 10pm.

The 2.4km route was the same as previous years, although the number of Love Mobiles was reduced from 30 in order to increase the presence of those taking part, according to organisers.

Originally 25 Love Mobiles had registered but two floats – including the Buddha Mobile – had technical problems.

And if nine hours of pumping techno was not enough, the music continued at various events dotted around the lakeshore until midnight.

In addition to the Love Mobiles and their giant sound systems, this year's Street Parade also included four stages with huge screens and a laser and light show. VJs [video jockeys] mixed images of the 200 DJs – including German star Paul van Dyk – with shots of the parade and its underdressed participants.

"Just mix music - don't mix drugs," said the institute's information sheet. Nevertheless, some 400 people needed medical aid and police arrested 11 people on suspicion of dealing drugs. In the evening one person died after being stabbed and there were also reports of a few scuffles.
