the other concern aside from the potential for things to be flakey software wise, is standardization....are clubs and promoters going to be willing to accommodate the same as they are with Sereto at the moment?

it's exactly the same as serato - bring the gear and plug it in (the box functions just like serato with the tables going into the box and the box going in to the mixer) I don't see why it would be any different. Few clubs have a permanent Serato setup yet (or a Rane ttm57)...

the biggest concern for me other than flakey software is how durable the hardware is. M-Audio is not exactly the best constructed stuff (hence the cheapness in price). Wondering if the box can stand the rigours of regular gigging...

tried it... it's fantasitc with a MIDI controller on the side, assigning was a breeze so was installing the program itself is 3 MB. Serato is history, this for half price and effects, VSTs etc it will be a huge success until someone else comes out with something bigger but for now Conectiv rules

ebay, neoh make sure you have at least 1 GB of RAM a lot of users are experiencing audio drop outs, on the box you will read MIN and Recommended specs, so Win recommended specs are to be able to run Torq smoothly...

so far it sounds like any issues are related to the persons system and not the conectiv software, also some people trying to do some advanced things and running into issues..... nothing compared to what the FS forum looked like when it first came out....

waiting for mine too :)

i'm a little confused by the minimum system requirements mind you since i've heard and seen varying degrees of the minimum requirements. Anywhere from a 1.25 G4 to a 1.5 G4 (i'm right in the middle).

anxiously awaiting my copy :D

no comparison in terms of the volume of users having issues.... there were so many issues when FS first came out, and the support was balls
