My store is currently looking for these technical positions. If you or anyone you know is qualified, the email addresses are at the bottom of each of the postings. Service Advisor
CompuSmart is searching for a self-motivated, highly skilled and energetic Service Advisor with expertise in customer service. Several full time positions are now available. The ideal candidates will be team players with a track record of success and a strong understanding of information technology and consumer electronics.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

CORPORATE TECHNICAL SERVICES SPECIALIST

CompuSmart has an immediate opening for a Corporate Technical Services Specialist. In this position you will provide consultative, deployment, software support and break-fix services to our corporate client base. As a member of the Corporate Technical Services Group, you will work closely with the corporate sales team and play a key role in identifying and securing new opportunities. The ideal candidate has at least 4-6 years of practical working experience in an operations, technical support or systems administration capacity, with relevant certifications from recognized IT vendors or associations. A customer-oriented, outgoing personality, good verbal skills, good ability to multitask, a sharp eye for detail, ability to work under pressure and strong organizational skills are required as you will be running multiple projects simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Manager of Technical Services and working in close collaboration with the local Corporate Sales team, you will:

· Build and maintain strong customer relationships
· Maintain a customer centric approach to consultative services in a hybrid sales- technical services role
· Manage projects from inception to completion, including opportunity identification, project-scope definition, implementation and evaluation.
· Provide ongoing technical support, system administration and operations management services to new and existing customers
· Increase the company’s overall ability to identify, capture and deliver service based solutions to Small and Medium Enterprise in the local market
· Deliver reliable, professional technical services and solutions
· Create technical proposals and ‘scope of work’ documentation
· Deliver all projects on time and on budget while achieving / exceeding customer requirements
· Foster a proactive, “can-do” services discipline
· Complete project-related reports and daily time-tracking
· Other relevant duties as assigned

PROFILE OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

The successful candidate has the following qualities:

· 4-6 years of practical work experience in an operations, technical support or systems administration capacity
· Bachelor degree, Diploma or relevant IT Vendor Certifications
· Customer-centric attitude and approach
· Creativity and initiative to help define differentiating value in a commodity-driven market

PROVEN TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

You have practical experience working with most of the following technologies:

· Local area and wide area networking products (LAN / WAN)
· Installation, configuration and administration of Windows 2000 / 2003 and Office 2003 in a networked environment
· Microsoft Back office applications (Exchange, SQL, etc)
· Microsoft Windows Client Operating Systems (98 through to and including XP)
· Security hardware (appliances) and software tools
· Network devices, switches, printers, servers, network cabling
· Back-up software and hardware tools
· VPN technologies
· IBM and HP blade and SAN technologies
· Technical and business documentation and writing
· Linux, Novell or Unix operating systems experience an asset


EDUCATION

· MCSE
· CCNP or other OS Certification is an advantage
· IBM, HP Server Certification highly desirable

Mobile Technician

The CompuSmart Services team is looking for a mobile technician to help drive the expansion of services-driven solutions, satisfy existing clients and to enhance and accelerate the acquisition of new customers.

Principle Responsibilities
· Ability to troubleshoot and repair computers, and computer equipment in a timely manner in depot or at client site
· Delivery excellent customer service skills with an eye on doing more for the client
· Ensure all warranty processes are followed and accurately billed
· Order and track manufacturer parts accurately following all procedures accurately
· Work with other service department staff, and your service manager on any questions, or concerns
· Work along side the sales staff (corporate and retail) to sell overall client based solutions
· Enter all pertinent information into corporate systems in a timely manner
· Seek training and certification opportunities working with your manager to determine which opportunities to follow
· Maintain a clean, orderly, well organized and professional looking work area
· Ensure efficient and effective communication among all staff in all store departments
· Lead by example, showing a true excitement and keenness for the daily work you perform
· Constantly look for new ways to reduce costs, enhance the customer-service experience and grow revenues and market share
· Other duties as required by your manager in carrying out your responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements
· Minimum 3 years technical service experience or educational equivalent
· Comptia A+ and/or Network + and/or MCSE designation and/or CNE designation
· Possession of up-to-date manufacturer certifications
· Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Strong customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills
· Superior organizational and time management skills
· A strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency to react as required.
· Availability to work nights and weekends
