They are making a ton of money but still I am not so confident that just cause of some playoff success this year will see ticket prices drop. I could easily be wrong though with the playoff success if they get any they may lower tickets, but to say selling out more tickets means lowered ticket prices. I don't think thats true at least in van cause we been selling out home games every game Last edited by KenJi; Sep 17, 06 at 11:01 PM. |

^I'm just speaking from what I heard from Global tv news a few days back...and that is what they were talking about Kenji. I just wanted to point out that if the canucks were in the playoffs (and for a long duration too), then the canuck's owners make more profit. So with that extra cashflow coming in, what can you do to increase vancouver canucks patronage and attract more people to the game and their out-of-gm place-merchandise?

but i suppose with the ticket prices costing more during the playoff's you could make alot of money if we were to say get to the conference finals or something which by the way we should have in 2002. |

I think he deserves a shot. At least we'll have one person who's willing to use the body on the first line. He'll do what Todd was supposed to do last year; get the stars some space.

yeah i wouldnt mind seeing cooke on the first line for a while. when he was called upon before he stepped his game up.
besides, if he does screw up....plenty of other guys i was looking at some prejected lines, and one of them had sedin/sedin/king i thought king was done? |

^ its most likely gonna be sedin, sedin and bulis. I am pretty certain king rejected the canucks offer and walked away.
p.s: seriously 2 million for a 3 line center.... kesler better step his game up. Your suppose to make the money after you get some points. These days the players that make the money end up sucking for the most part. |
