Branding, scarification, flesh hooks.. you name it. Elwood is trained in some very extreme forms of Body Modification as well. If you find Carlos' link sick.. you can't even begin to understand some of the shit I've been learning about these past few days. Amputation, implants, fuck.. some amazing shit. Keep in mind, this kind of stuff dates back to before recorded history. It's called Modern Primitive. It's a very ancient, and very spiritual culture. Last edited by tiedye; Sep 14, 06 at 08:01 PM. |

It's no more fucked up than praying on your knees before you go to bed at night. Spirtuality comes in many forms, and really.. does anyone have a right to determine what is "normal"?? On that note.. the questions running through my head lately have been "What is normal?" and "Why is there a norm?"

i think there's a bit of a difference between someone who sits alone in their room making cuts on their upper thighs muttering "i'm not pretty" and someone who goes & gets designs made so the scar will form some pattern they identify with. the latter isn't much different than tattooing my eyes.

true. hahaha "i'm not pretty"! lol. guess i was aiming more at the "i need to punish myslef" crazies out there! some of those are nice, some are just unsettling! although i think the hum of a tatoo gun is a little different than cutting pieces of your flesh off! |
