I completely agree with everything you just said. This procedure is completely reversable (with a lot of work, mind you) and I find much more comfort knowing that I CAN reverse it if somethign went wrong, as opposed to a bad tattoo which can only be covered up or lasered off. And as for being in good hands, I'm actually in the best hands.

You're absolutely right. I was born with a speech impediment, and piercing my tongue helped improve my speech because I started being more conscious about the way I spoke.

There is absolutely no pain involved. It cuts so slowly that you don't feel it. So slowly, in fact, that the fishing line is all that is needed to keep it seperated until it heals. A fishing line is less than a millimetre thick.
