A-BOMB will become famous soon enough
RCMP on drug patrol @ Dooms Night article (The Vancouver Sun)

I read this in Saturdays Sun

This cop claims he has been to over 150 raves since 98, and also admits "the rave sence is dying somewhat"

wow, totally unlike any other article written by the media about the rave culture. At least its not really pointing the blame on anyone or the party in general like most articles.

ehhh, it's pretty truthful. They must have sent a white guy in because he talked to all the teens and none of the middle aged nammers.

HAH! I know that chick on 1st page:p This is uber hilarious... don't hide stuff in your purse, that's pretty straight forward...They can accuse you of being high till the cows come home without evidence:p

werd(pbreak) - "Many young women appear to simply have forgotten to put on their shirts." (the REAL Reason cops come to raves!)

PS: RaVes will never die! Check out Europe scene sometimes;)

Sykonee will become famous soon enough
I'm glad they repeatedly pointed out the fact 'e' tends to be laced with other junk. I don't mind MDA or basic amphetamines, but all this nasty shit like meth getting thrown in now concerns me. Trouble is most kids don't know this so they figure the super-speedy after effects of a meth-mixed 'e' tab is a normal attribute.

yeah it was pretty well written I liked it. not like it's anything we don't know, but at least it's not completely biased using fear to drill a message into the reader.

rave scene in van = wack

maybe if we didn't have drug prohibition, people would be able to consistantly purchase pure mdma and not have to worry about all that sketchy garbage gangs put in their pills. we all know that will never happen though.

I went to a seminar he did a few years back. It was on the "rave" scene and "rave drugs". That was when I was pretty into the "scene" and I expected a lot of propaganda bullshit but most of what he said was fair, rational and spot-on. I'm going to read the article now.

as an aside, i cannot believe that such bad writing makes it into provincial newspapers. How do these people graduate from schools of journalism, really? [reaffirms once again why the Vancouver Sun sucks]

I don't understand why anyone has trouble spotting bad pills.

It's not hard to spot the spots.
